2022 Mayday!

It’s Back!
In 2022 we will be returning the Mayday shoot to the Norfolk Archery Calendar.

It will be a fun shoot, but most importantly there will be Tri-Bow!

Head over to the Mayday page for more info!

Phased Return to Archery

With the most recent Government guidelines, Archery GB has set forth guidelines on how clubs can seek to return to Archery. As a Committee, we have been in discussion about this, and have now set up everything we think we need.

So we are restarting shooting at the racecourse on Sundays from 2pm to 6pm, and Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm, starting this coming Sunday 26th July 2020.

Things obviously will be a little different from normal. To ensure everyone’s safety there is a set of procedures that everyone shooting must read and must stick to. It’s essential that you read, understand and agree with everything, before coming along to shoot.

Click here for The Procedures For Shooting under COVID-19 Phase 1.

Members should receive an e-mail from Paul, our Welfare Officer,  on Wed 22nd July with more information. If you do not receive Paul’s e-mail by Thursday, please e-mail him on membership@fakenhambowmen.co.uk or archery@paulgambling.com

Booking in system

We will be following ArcheryGB recommendations for the range layout to maintain social distancing, so numbers will be limited. Because of this, there is now a booking system – log in and look under Members Info or click here for COVID-19 Booking  There are only 7 shooting positions per session,  so if you turn up without booking a place first, you might not be able to shoot. Note that the toilets at The Gallow will NOT be able available on Wednesday evenings, and there are restrictions on Sunday, please bear that in mind and come prepared.

Information about the ArcheryGB guidelines and requirements can be found on the Archery GB page by clicking here.
